Orcatober Aquatic Horrors

At Whale and Dolphin Conservation I feel very lucky to be able to mix my own love of gaming with the conservation of these amazing, intelligent, sentient beings. October is one of my favourite months because I absolutely LOVE horror games, and what better way to mark the occasion than by mixing the two themes of ocean and horror with this awesome collection.

The ocean may be beautiful, wild and mesmerising, but beneath the surface lies a much darker side. The vast, unexplored depths are full of mystery - and sometimes, the things lurking in the darkness can be truly terrifying. So, what better setting could there be for a horror game?

Each one of the games in this collection are set in dark, terrifying, aquatic worlds where you must survive horrors from the deep. From haunted swamps and Lovecraftian terrors to claustrophobic submarine survival and psychological scares, this incredible lineup will surely give you goosebumps (I know I can’t wait to try them out!).

But the true horrors are really what humans are doing to the ocean and its inhabitants. This Orcatober, games are helping us shine a spotlight on the horrors of whale and dolphin captivity. There are more than 3,700 whales and dolphins across the globe being held captive in concrete tanks for human entertainment. Life in a tank is a horror show for whales and dolphins and by purchasing this bundle you are helping WDC educate tourists and campaign against tour operators to stop supporting captive facilities. With your help we will make this the last generation of captive whales and dolphins.
